Kia Ora!
Wow what a past few days it seems like Im the energizer bunny just goin and goin and goin haha. Mainly its just been busy work trying to get into a good rhythm where I have fun but do my work as well, and its all going well at the moment. Monday night I played some ball with Jeb in the Rec and dropped 34! I was 5 for 7 from 3land so that was a good time haha. Then today I had a good talk with my exercise science lecturer and he was real cool when I told him that I hadn’t had a physiology before this (I definitely was supposed to) but he said I’d be fine and that he just focuses on exercise and motor units etc. After class I headed to the dining hall with Korey (New Hampshire) to wait in line for an hour haha before finally gettin some BBQ chicken pizza and chips which were really good. I got takeaway though and ate in the room as I waited for Jeb and Blake to come down so we could head to the bball club open gym but turned out they had hall meetings so I walked 30 min to the Hokowhitu campus to play a lil ball! It was fun once I got there met quite a few guys and pretty sure I can make a social team easy. There was this one guy named Tristan who was huge! I drove the lane and tucked it up and went in to him then made the layup and I thought he was gonna kill me but he’s a good guy thank God haha. I met quite a few guys from this one hall up the hill, T,Ken, and 2 other guys I already forgot (T-Zimbabwe,Ken and 1 other guy are asian, and the other kid is kiwi), and they offered me a ride. The only problem was they were havin a girl come pick them up in a lil 4 seater and she brought 2 friends haha. So all in all there were 7 of us crammin into this tiny car. Ken wouldn’t ride in the boot cuz he didn’t know how he said haha sooo naturally I climbed in haha. Ill let you figure out what the boot is but it was better than walking home in the dark that’s for sure haha. Anyway Ive been chillin ever since we got back and I’d say its about bed time haha. No Taupo this weekend either, even though almost every American is goin haha, Im volunteering for a conservation project in Waikato which could be cool or could flop we’ll see haha. Ill make the best of whatevers in front of me though! Hope all is well!!
